The Job Opportunities for Building Success (JOBS) initiative is a competitive grant opportunity issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) for Fiscal Year 2026

JOBS FY26 NGO

The purpose of JOBS is to provide employment and training services to justice-impacted individuals whose involvement with the justice system has created barriers to workforce reintegration. The program funds career services, occupational training, paid internships, apprenticeships, supportive services, and long-term employment retention support.

If awarded, Ideal Institute of Technology would serve as a lead agency responsible for recruitment, enrollment, career coaching, training coordination, employment placement, and retention tracking.

The program is designed to strengthen workforce outcomes and promote long-term, unsubsidized employment for justice-impacted individuals across New Jersey.

The NJLEAD Category C – Innovative Reentry Coding & Digital Economic Empowerment Program is a New Jersey Department of Corrections (NJDOC) funded initiative under the NJLEAD (Locally Empowered, Accountable, and Determined) Reentry Initiative.

Operated by Ideal Institute of Technology, this program provides structured coding, digital literacy, and technology-based economic empowerment training to incarcerated individuals within New Jersey State correctional facilities.

The program prepares participants for successful reentry by equipping them with marketable digital skills, industry-aligned competencies, entrepreneurial knowledge, and employment readiness training. The initiative emphasizes economic independence, reduced recidivism, and sustainable workforce reintegration through cooperative economic empowerment.

Programming follows NJDOC-approved curriculum standards and cohort guidelines and is delivered in compliance with all NJLEAD Category C requirements

The Community Work Experience Program (CWEP) is a Work First New Jersey (WFNJ) workforce development initiative designed to serve individuals receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), General Assistance (GA), and SNAP benefits in Atlantic County, New Jersey.

Operated by Ideal Institute of Technology, the CWEP program provides structured, short-term work experience combined with workforce preparation services to help participants build employability skills, improve workplace behaviors, and transition toward unsubsidized employment.

CWEP is an unpaid, skill-building work experience program intended to help individuals acquire general work habits, occupational exposure, and the foundational competencies necessary to secure long-term employment. The program integrates assessment, life skills development, literacy training, job readiness instruction, and supervised placement at approved community-based worksites
